REDDIX-YOUNG stands at the St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery in New Orleans, painted black against an otherwise brick and white marble sea of tombs. The name reads boldly and starkly against the dark cement— defiant even among the dead.

The namesake was brought back from the dead and given life by drummer turned guitarist/frontman, Christian King and guitarist turned drummer, Dylan James in New Orleans in October of 2023. As those first notes rattled the room around them like thunder, the energy between them struck like lightning. The duo draws from the likes of blues greats, folk heroes and punk royalty; an eclectic and electric mix of fuzz guitars and loud drums that captures that lightning in a bottle for your consumption.
