Hello Darling is the creative endeavor of duo Grace Russell and Patrick Armould. The group came together as a creative and songwriting outlet aside from their solo pursuits. They met at Lipscomb University. Both band members have had extended touring experience. Armould comes from the band American Field Day that has toured with Houndmouth, Joe Pug, Illiterate Light, Strand of Oaks, and many more. He also made a notable appearance playing one of the stages of Austin City Limits at just seventeen years old. Russell comes from the deep seeded south where she grew up establishing her songwriting chops in the best rooms in Nashville and New Orleans making notable appearances at Muscle Shoals Music Festival and the Ozone Fest. Together the band combines an indie folk sound that pertains to the likes of artists such as the Head and The Heart and The Avett Brothers. The band is driven by strong vocals and heartfelt lyrics.
