Dipsea Flower
Dipsea Flower is the Folk-Rock project of Singer/Songwriter Ari Rosenberg. The group was founded in Northern California, and is currently based in Boston. Their debut single “Hummingbird” (released November 2023) quickly climbed over 400k streams in a matter of months. This led to a collaboration with esteemed record producer Jon Gilbert (Mt. Joy, Flipturn, etc.) on their second single “Sundance”, a summery folk-rock sing-along released in May 2024.
The music channels a vintage California vibe that is perfect for a top-down road trip along the coast. The sound was described by Mitch Mosk of Atwood Magazine as “A fresh breath of warm light and (a) sweet, smile-inducing sound.” With catchy melodies and soulful harmonies, Dipsea Flower is high-energy and feel-good.
The group has begun to scale up their live performances, playing sold out shows around Boston supporting artists such as Lamont Landers and The Takes. This summer, they are set to support Hans Williams on his New England tour dates, and make their debut on the festival scene in July at Maplewoodstock Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey.
Along with being featured as the cover Artist on the Fashionably Early blog, Dipsea Flower was listed at #2 on Sheesh Media’s list of “The Best 6 Artists of May 2024.” They were described by Atwood Magazine as “a definitive artist-to-watch,” stating that “Fans of Mt. Joy, John Vincent III, and flipturn are sure to fall hard and fast for Dipsea Flower’s Golden State magic.” With social media co-signs from flipturn and Arcy Drive, Dipsea Flower is making a name for themselves in the digital world.
In addition to Ari on vocals and guitar, the four-piece group features Marley Striem (New York City) on bass, Trevor Hurvitz (Santa Barbara, CA) on guitar, and Andy Baker (New Jersey) on drums. The five of them met while studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
