Claire Larose
Claire Larose is a singer-songwriter from London, Ontario, Canada, whose journey to music has been anything but ordinary. A former Division I athlete on a full-ride soccer scholarship, Claire spent years balancing the intensity of high-level sport with a quiet, persistent pull toward songwriting. After moving to Nashville permanently in 2022, she began translating the emotional depth and discipline she developed on the field into her music - creating songs that are intimate, honest, and achingly human. Blending the introspective lyricism of Lizzy McAlpine, the emotional resonance of Billie Eilish, and the raw folk-pop storytelling of Noah Kahan, Claire’s sound sits somewhere between a journal entry and a cinematic daydream. Her voice - soulful and smoky - calls to mind early Norah Jones and the melodic vulnerability of Lennon Stella. With a mix of folk textures, ambient pop, and warm country undertones, Claire’s music invites listeners into a space that’s both deeply personal and universally felt.
