Covid policy

The health and safety of fans, artists and staff are paramount to The Basement & The Basement East anytime but especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective August 15, 2021 until future notice,  all patrons, artists and staff entering the venue are required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test.  If the patron or artist do not want to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination, with their final dose at least fourteen days prior to the show is acceptable.  AT HOME TESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  We will continually assess the information and recommendations provided by the CDC and update our policy as needed.

THE BASEMENT & THE BASEMENT EAST COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY:

All patrons, artists and staff are required to uphold The Basement & The Basement East COVID-19 Safety Policy: 

NEGATIVE TEST is required for all patrons, artists and staff. A negative COVID-19 test result from 48 hours or less prior to the show administered but a health professional.  Proof of a negative test administered by a health care provider may be a printed or digital test result that matches the patron ID.  No home tests accepted.

COVID-19 PROOF OF VACCINATION is acceptable if patron or artist does not provide a negative test result.  A completed COVID-19 vaccination card, with their final dose at least fourteen days prior to the show. Proof of vaccination may include a physical card or a photo of a complete vaccination card that matches the patron ID. 

FACEMASKS are required for all staff members and strongly encouraged for patrons

TEMPERATURE CHECKS will be measured upon entry to detect temperatures exceeding 100.4 degrees fahrenheit. Entry for guests with temperatures over 100.4 will be denied out of an abundance of caution for other guests. 

HAND HYGIENE is encouraged. Hand wash stations and hand sanitization stations are provided near entry, restrooms and bar. 

SANITIZATION of frequent touch points in public areas (doors handles, counters and equipment) occurs routinely throughout the show. 

SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING is encouraged of all patrons. Any violations of this policy or behavior creating discomfort for patrons should be reported to venue staff.

All ticket holding patrons refusing to abide by The Basement & The Basement East COVID-19  Safety Policy on the day of the show will be denied entry and refused a refund.

Proof of a negative test administered by a health care provider may be a printed or digital test result that matches the patron ID.  No home tests accepted.

If you have lost your vaccine card, contact your vaccine provider, i.e. Walgreens, CVS, Metro Public Health, for a copy.

Children under 12, who cannot be vaccinated, can show a negative test taken in the prior 48 hours of the show to attend. People with a medical condition or religious belief that prevents vaccination can attend with proof of a negative COVID-19 test result from 48 hours or less prior to the show.
